Christmas Trees!

Ok Christmas is no time to be off your gym routine. BUT, this exercise will take you only 8 minutes or so, and it's in the holiday spirit! Do it after you unwrap your presents or just before your holiday dinner, and believe me you'll feel so much better about your consumption of sweets and food today. :) Happy holidays from The Gym Coach!

Muscles worked: Abs (primary)
Time to Complete: 8 minutes (or so)
You'll need: Just your body
  1. Stand with your feet about shoulder width apart and raise your arms over your head straight up with fingers touching (in the shape of a Christmas Tree!).
  2. Tighten your abs and keep them tight through the exercise.
  3. Keeping your left arm straight toward the ceiling, lean your body to the right, while bringing your right arm (keeping it straight) down toward your right knee.
  4. Return your right arm to meet your left and repeat on the left side.

Do 20 repetitions, rest for 30 seconds then repeat the full set 2 more times.
